Nowadays, legislation around the world has started to accept transsexuality and that is why those people who feel they belong to the other gender are allowed to legally change their sex and name. The legislation allows changes to the body using hormonal treatment or surgery.
Below is a resume of the options for physical interventions, which considers the advantages and disadvantages of each treatment option.
